Inga Clogs

Inga from Sweden produce comfortable clogs and they have taken their brand name from the messenger of "Swedish Sin." In the historical myth, Inga is described as being flirty and colourful and these factors have been used in creating Inga Clogs however, unlike the mythical Inga, Inga Clogs don't need to be forbidden as they are great for your feet and body. These shoes have been designed around the concept of traditional Swedish clogs but with a contemporary twist!

Beside the obvious mythical elements within the brand, Inga from Sweden also has strong values and a clear concept. Inga's Swedish clogs are both traditional and authentic while being great for your feet. Every clog has an orthopaedic insole which supports the whole foot giving exceptional comfort all day long and due to the fashionable styles in on trend colours you can enjoy comfortable clogs without compromising on your style!

The insoles in Inga clogs are made using an orthopaedic last and they are produced using moulded wood veneer. This sole, with seven layers, is created under high pressure and then damped, steamed and finally glued to perfection. Every Swedish clog has an ergonomically designed wooden insole that gives support to the feet and relieves any pressure or fatigue in the legs when walking or standing for long periods of time.

The sole of an Inga Swedish clog features a PU base that is wear resistant that not only makes the clogs durable but it also absorbs the shock on impact when walking to protect the joints and back.

The sole of Inga clogs is ever so slightly curved, this is used to create a gentle rocking motion when walking which naturally propels you forward and gives a smoother walking motion, improves the posture and helps to reduce and treat back pain.

There is a theory that for shoes to be comfortable they must have a soft sole and upper but soft soles don't support the arches and can lead to flat feet or other problems in the future. Traditional Swedish clogs on the other hand have a firm wooden sole which supports the foot but they are stereotypically known to be heavy and clumsy. To avoid this, Inga clogs have been made using a wooden veneer sole with is lighter than traditional materials but just as supportive while the PU sole gives a soft tread when walking.

Inga clogs are made using real blond wood, the material used for traditional Swedish clogs, due to the positive benefits it gives. The wood is extremely durable, giving Inga clogs a long life cycle, while it also absorbs any natural odours keeping your feet fresh all day long.

With the comfortable clogs from Inga there is no need to compromise on style as they are available in such great colours and designs. Above all else, Inga from Sweden are designed to make you smile and feel good about yourself everyday!
